This happened in a MTT but it could happen anywhere.
In the progress of the game it is quite likely that at some point you will get 4 or 5 bad hands in a row and fold them, I find that a trap is that after those 4 bad hands you may get a hand that is better then those but still not great (like say Q/7 off suit) now normally you would just fold it but after 4 worse hands it looks better so I played it.
Lesson to learn in a play money tournament.
